Terms of Use

Last updated August 20, 2026
By using Northwest Boat Ramps (the "Site"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

What this Site is

Northwest Boat Ramps estimates boat ramp usability from public water-level data published by the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation. It is a convenience tool, not a substitute for checking conditions yourself before you launch. See our reservoir pages and Accessibility Statement for more on data sourcing and limitations.

No warranty

The Site and its data are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Water levels change, sensors fail, and our estimates can be wrong.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Magic Smoke Studio, LLC and Northwest Boat Ramps are not liable for any damages — direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential — arising from your use of the Site or reliance on its data, including damage to property, injury, or a wasted trip to the water.

Donations

"Donate for a Coffee" is a voluntary payment to support running the Site. It is not a purchase of goods or services, is non-refundable, and is not tax-deductible — Magic Smoke Studio, LLC is not a registered nonprofit.

Email alerts

Signing up for ramp alerts opts you in immediately. Every alert email includes a one-click way to stop alerts for one reservoir or all email from us — no need to contact us to unsubscribe.

Changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site, or these terms, at any time. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
